Welcome, Class of 2024!

Food plays an important role in nourishing both students and campus life at Muhlenberg College. A vibrant dining experience is vital to create an environment where all members of the campus community are eager to gather around the same table. Muhlenberg Dining fulfills this need with restaurant-quality food made fresh from the best available local ingredients served by a friendly and welcoming staff. Because of our commitment to creating an exceptional student experience, our program has earned national recognition as one of the best dining programs in the United States from The Princeton Review, The Huffington Post, Yahoo, Cappex and The Daily Meal. Whether you choose to relax in the Wood Dining Commons, grab a latte at Java Joe, sample sushi at the GQ or recharge with a smoothie at the LSC Cafe, we can offer a dining option to fit your mood and, most importantly, your lifestyle at Muhlenberg College.

Each meal plan is designed to fit your lifestyle. The most popular meal plan is the Gold Membership, and many theatre and dance majors choose this membership because of the extra dining dollars. Athletes tend to choose the Platinum Membership for unlimited access to the Wood Dining Commons. If you need help choosing a membership to fit your lifestyle, let us know!
Swipes are part of your meal plan. As a freshman, there are 3 meal plans to choose from, and each meal plan has swipes. One swipe gets you a full meal in either the Wood Dining Commons or the Mule Express. The Platinum meal plan gives you 10 guest swipes for the semester. Swipes do not roll over from fall to spring.

Dining dollars are part of your meal plan, while Berg Bucks are not. Dining dollars are available in the Gold and Platinum memberships, but they are not available in the Traditional membership. Dining dollars can be used at any dining location on campus including Java Joe, the General's Quarters, and the Life Sports Center Cafe.

Berg Bucks are not part of any meal plan, and are optional. The ’Berg Bucks program provides students with added flexibility and convenience! Independent of meal plans, ’Berg Bucks may be applied toward purchases at on-campus dining venues, the ’Berg Bookshop and campus laundry machines in major residence halls. ’Berg Bucks are a great way to supplement any meal plan!

The Noshery is an integrated kosher facility within the Wood Dining Commons at Muhlenberg College. It houses a separate kosher meat kitchen under Star-K Certification and kosher dairy kitchen under Star-D Certification. A Mashgiach Temidi is on the premises during all hours of operations. Every meal is served on disposable plates with flatware. Both kosher kitchens feature menus predicated on fresh ingredients and scratch-made recipes. Classics including Matzah Ball Soup are available everyday at Noshery South (Star-K certiöed Kosher Meat Restaurant) while daily features such as Falafel and Grilled Cheese can be found at Noshery North (Star-D certified Kosher Dairy Restaurant). The Noshery is part of the Wood Dining Commons, an all-you-care-to-eat facility that features 6 other restaurants.
